Why didn’t they have this when I grew up? This potty training video with baby tiger Shimajiro is the cutest ever! When he has to pee his belly goes ‘muzu muzu’. And when he needs to do a poopy his heiney goes ‘mozo mozo’ haha. Even the turds have happy smiling faces!

I started watching the Japanese drama series Hana Yori Dango today and I love it!
Makino Tsukushi is the only poor student at Eitoku Gakuen, the school of the ridiculously rich and privileged that is ruled by Flower 4 or F4, a group of four boys who come from extremely powerful families:
- Domyoji Tsukasa, the leader and heir of the Domyoji World Finance Group;
- Hanazawa Rui, the introverted son of a large company;
- Nishikado Sojiro, a player who is the heir of a tea ceremony school;
- Mimasaka Akira, a madam killer with ties to the underground.
If a student gets on the F4’s bad side, he/she gets a red notice and is bullied and driven out of school. Makino hopes to pass her days quietly– without drawing any attention to herself– but one day, she stands up to Domyoji in defense of her friend. The next day, Makino gets the dreaded red notice. Even though she is harassed, Makino decides to keep going to school. She declares war right back on the F4. Her resolve gets the attention of her crush Hanazawa Rui and oddly enough, rouses romantic feelings in her worst enemy, Domyoji Tsukasa.

Our beloved scottish fold cat Joli is just so cute! She’s always in cuddle mode, she likes to lick your hands vigorously when she’s happy. When I’m cranky in the morning and I look at her, I’m all happy again haha. She’s so cute and sweet.

I just bought this tiny little hd camcorder. It’s a Kodak Zi8. It fits neatly in your pocket and the image quality is pretty awesome, it can record in 720p (at 60 fps) or 1080p (30 fps). As expected, the image stabilisation isn’t all that great, but it’s perfectly capable of capturing nice images.

For the ones who haven’t seen this yet (shame on you!). JoJo in the Stars is a short animation, created by StudioAKA. Set in a dark and desolate nightmarish world, a young boy falls hopelessly in love with a beautiful circus performer. Their love however isn’t meant to last, at least not according to the mean and posessive ring master. JoJo in the Stars is a sad yet beautiful story about true love. Oh and the music is amazing! Jojo in the Stars won Best Animation at the 2004 Clermont-Ferrand International Film Festival.
Here are some other shorts, called Pica Towers, that StudioAKA created for Channel4. They’re set in the same dark and twisted world as JoJo in the Stars.

Meet Joli! Two weeks ago we picked up this cutie from Belgium, her full name is Joli de la Bruyere, but we usually call her Doedie or Poes or Meissie. It doesn’t matter that much because she’ll respond to anything you call her anyway. She’s a five year old Blue Scottish Fold (notice the folded ears) and she is really cuddly and sweet. When she’s really happy, she licks your hands an purrs really loud!

Oh and she has had one litter, here’s her son. Unfortunately we couldn’t take him home as well, he was also really really cute!
